Some compassionate folks had fed this cat while it was roaming the streets without a home. Some bad-hearted persons threw acid on the face of this sweet and loving cat in June, causing the animal to lose an eye.
The abandoned cat in the California desert only want food, love, and affection. After days of roaming in misery, a nice woman saw him on the porch and promptly brought him to the vet.
“He roamed in misery for days before returning to the village cottage that was feeding him. He rushed him to a vet who had no idea what they were doing “Casey Christopher said.
The veterinarian had no idea what he was doing; he gave the cat antibiotics, performed an IVF (Feline Immunodeficiency) test, which came up positive, and advised euthanasia.
The family that rescued Tommy, however, refused to let that happen, so the woman called Milo’s Sanctuary, a nonprofit rescue facility that specializes in caring for cats with special needs, elderly cats, terminally sick cats, or who have been abused and require care. Give them affection and listen to them.
The shelter stepped in right away and named the cat ‘Sir Thomas Trueheart.’ He was rushed to the vet, where he was given antibiotics, pain relievers, and bandages to help treat the wound. He also had skin surgery.
“Regardless,” the shrine staff said on their website, “Tommy was very courageous and purred and kissed the individuals who cared for him.”
Despite the fact that his empathy nearly cost him his life, he can’t help but fill others with love and trust. Tommy is now in a foster home, where he hopes to recuperate and find a permanent home.
